Sadly, the PoE module for the Ethernet FeatherWing is no longer available. I happen to have a Silvertel Ag9905LP module lying around, so I thought, I'd give it a DIY shot. I have found the respective schematics in the documentation, which raises a few questions:
concerning R1 and R2: which value is needed? And which one would I populate? Can somebody who owns that module pls check? Looks like a standard voltage divider to me, but the text suggests it isn't.
concerning R3: was this populated on the original module? And agian, which value?
Concerning the polarized capacitor without a designation: which value (again)?
Thank you! That was fast! I have found the official datasheet of the Silvertel module itself as well, which was very helpful with most of the questions.
@rickkas7 can I also assume that the headers J1, J2 and J3 are aligned in the schematic in the same the way they are arranged physically on the 'wing (ethernet connector on the left)? Unfortunately I don't have Eagle to view the original design files.
One thing to keep in mind is that the headers and discrete components are on the bottom of the circuit board, because the Silvertel module is sitting on top.
