Disable Device Vitals Publish

Is there any way yet to totally disable the device from publishing its vitals every cloud connect?

My devices connect every hour or every 2 hours, and I don’t want to waste my battery on publishing these vitals.

I know that others have asked this in the past, but it seems all those treads are dead ends.

It is not possible at this time. However the battery usage should be negligible, especially if you are already publishing data when awake.
