the Wifi module is not able to handle such special cases of Wifi Environment so you might have to see alternatives 
do I need to do anything or does it just remember the last 7 connected on its own?
It just automatically remembers up to 7. You don’t have to do a thing!
If you actually try to set an 8th profile, I’ve heard tell of weird behavior, so better to clear profiles by holding the MODE button for 10 seconds if you build up that many.
