CFOD Problem Being Revisited

I have a V1 core that was exhibiting the CFOD after being on line for between 30 minutes to 4 hours. Restarting the core connects quickly but the problem just repeats. I have two questions:

Now that a few months have passed, is there a new firmware version that fixes this problem?

And, if so, is there a simple tutorial that explains how to install new firmware?

I love the cores, but kind of useless so far.

Hi @galburt

The TI CC3000 patch is a very high priority for the Spark team right now. They have the official patch from TI now and are planning a large-scale core update. If you want to be a front-runner you can try it yourself right now.

Put it on hold if it is not urgent.
