Hi -
I was wondering whether their is still a way to claim Xenon’s that have not been claimed before. I have ±10 left in my drawer but have had no luck claiming them either via the APP or CLI.

Friedl.

Since you need to get the devices online via a mesh network but cannot create new mesh networks or add new devices to an existing one, that won’t be an easy feat.
However, you can use standalone Xenons even when they are not claimed.
Hi @ScruffR -
it’s been a while
Well… I have a mesh set up, so was hoping I can add these devices to that same network. As I mostly use the WebIDE and control panel for the VERY entry level coding I do, getting them online would have been first prize. Seems like VSC and Serial monitor will be in my not-so-distant future then Still getting grips on the jump from Fusion Electronics to Altium, was hoping not to have to learn VSC as well
Thanks!
Friedl.
While VSC would be a good addition to your skill-set it’s not required.
You can still use Web IDE to build Xenon code for any of your pre-claimed devices, then download the binary and flash that via USB to your intended target Xenon.
Thanks… did not know that
I agree, VSC seem the way to go. I have used it before but my focus is more on hardware lately leaving the coding to the guys that know what they are doing
As soon as I have Altium under the belt (quite a step up from FE), I will turn my focus to VSC.
Thank you for the help and enjoy the rest of your day!
Regards, Friedl.
