Boron LTE-M for use in South Africa

I need to know if the Boron LTE-M will work in South Africa? Do I need your global sim to work or will it work with our local sim provider? i.e MTN , Vodacom 3g 4g and LTE.

I want to build the following project which uses Boron for push notifications.

No, unfortunately none of the carriers in ZA support LTE-M.
MTN briefly had it, but have scrubbed their website of any mention. Vodacom’s IoT division brought in NB-IoT, but it’s on a private APN and despite my attempts to get it working, it would never connect.

They ostensibly gave up due to the Sigfox network being set up along the N1/2/3, but Sigfox went belly up recently.

There is no Boron form factor to use in Za, but the B524 works really well - except for the form factor it’s identical in functionality and runs on the same LTE that your phone uses.

Thank you for your prompt reply I will look at the B524 as per your suggestion.
