I have a 4" x 6" x 2" project box that I want to put in a relay module and the Spark Core. I have a 1-gang plastic enclosure with an outlet that I will affix to the side of the project box.
My plan is to run the wires into the enclosure and then port the necessary connections to the relay module while I can control the relay contacts with my Core. My only concern in possible EMI.
I know that 60Hz isn’t going generate noise in my particular operating band (2.4 GHz) but how about inductance? Leaching? Is there a rule of thumb regarding separation of 110VAC power and an embedded WiFi device like a Core?
I don’t think there will be much of an issue but I’d rather ask first before I start getting to work.
Thanks!
