With much excitment we’re glad to announce Android app v2.0 has been released to the Google play store today. This version contains many significant changes and updates. We did our best to test it but the sheer amount of Android versions, devices and different wi-fi environments make it very hard to cover.
Dear community - Please use this thread to provide bug reports/feedback.
As always - this is an open source app so you can review the source code in github and report issues directly.
What’s new (TL;DR)
- Device inspector: interact with your device’s functions, variables and see its published events and full info. See data consumption for cellular devices.
- Many bug fixes, more reliable setup process (location services permission needed to see Photons in discovery mode during setup)
- UI Redesign, new color scheme (“dark matter”)
