Is is possible that the Android App is not compatible with Android version 5?
My Nexus4 just got updated and the Android app no longer finds new cores. (I still have a Nexus 7 running Android 4.x, so I don’t have a real problem - I’m just curious).
I am on a Nexus 5 with stock Android 5 (not rooted) and the Tinker App works. Sry can´t add a screenshot because it just do not work anymore 
but anyway you have a Nexus 4 not 5 - only want to give you the information that it seem´s not a default 5.0 problem.
