very nice demo. is there a method to slow down the speed at which the unit pans/tilts? also, incremental stops during a sweep or maybe control via a joystick type control?
Photon has a servo class. It has 0-180 steps. You tell the servo class what step you want to go to and it goes there. To slow it down you could go to the step you wanted but in 1 step increments with a delay between steps. Currently I’m giving a command via UDP to go to step 0, step 90 and step 180. Eventually I’ll will make it slower and smoother. The demo video was to show how Photon can control the LIDAR via WiFi and pan and tilt the LIDAR head.
