Usb to host midi read - boron

Hi Everyone,

I am trying to figure out what would be the best way to read MIDI notes from a device that has
a USB type B output (USB to host) ?

  • Using the Boron board

@Alex2, none of the Particle devices can act as USB hosts so what you ask for cannot be done.

When it’s a proper MIDI device it should also have proper MIDI connectors :wink:
I’d think raw MIDI should be doable via RX/TX (including signal adjusment for 3.3V on the Boron).
