Update from device os 1.0.0 to 1.5.0

I did a search on this topic but couldn’t find anything; maybe someone can point me to an appropriate discussion here somewhere.

I have a couple of Electrons that have been running Device OS 1.0.0 reliably for several months. Is there any benefit to updating to OS 1.5.0 and, if so, can I go directly from 1.0.0 to 1.5.0 OTA?
