Hi guys, someone can just do a full backup of tachyon, with the edl tool [ GitHub - bkerler/edl: Inofficial Qualcomm Firehose / Sahara / Streaming / Diag Tools :) ] using the tachyon loader [prog_firehose_ddr.elf] you find it in [https://github.com/secprog/tachyon_qdl] and provide the data ? fell free to overwrite your IMEI and serial and so on with 1111, 222, 333, and say what each is who?. This is because, particle keeps radio silence, i already sent a lot of emails, dm’s and even write to support and nobody gives a reply back…. Nobody cares, it is not only me that is without booting devices, because of experiments… Lesson learned!

The command to dump is edl rf dump.bin –memtype=ufs –loader=location of prog_firehose_ddr.elf

It’s unfortunately not that simple and you’ll need our help to get it back online and connected to the Particle cloud.

Emails to support will be redirected back here to the forum as that’s the official support path.

There is work happening on a CLI restore tool that should be ready soon.

Right now i do not even need access to particle cloud, only want the device alive.

When that tool will be ready do you have any estimated time? For example in December of 2025?

Best regards, sorry about anything but i’m a bit frustrated, thank you for your message, at least you responded me. It is a shame that Particle CTO made fake expectations saying that it was uploading the image and to give 1 hour LOL. It doesn’t matter if the tool is not ready yet, but the minimum that you guys can do it is to have a transparent and honest response, we know that it is a new device and that you guys are working on many things at the same time.

I’ll relay your feedback, and we’ll get you sorted ASAP. It’s unfortunately not as straightforward as just reflashing an image.

The team spent much of Friday working on this, I expect it to be ready soon.

Hey folks

Apologies but I have a few days off in the UK as its my parents 50th wedding anniversary and my bothers 40th birthday and I’ve been organizing both events.

I am waiting for our HW team in China to come online again in a few hours before enabling the help section as the factory image requires a specific sequence to validate it.

Note that the partition information contains radio calibration information for wifi, LTE, BT - if we could operate without these, then it would be much easier. Alas, integrated systems like this require this information to operate.
