Hi,
Stuck on the initial setup of Tachyon.
I can’t get my Tachyon to connect to WiFi, at this step (3):

Wi-Fi setup is required to continue when using Particle setup!
This active internet connection is necessary to activate cellular connectivity on your device.
Unable to scan Wi-Fi networks. Ensure your system has the necessary permissions and tools to perform Wi-Fi scans.

I go through the enter an SSID and password part and complete the configuration.
The Tachyon never connects to the WiFi network, I’ve tried alternate WiFi networks and run through the process multiple times.
My SSIDs and passwords are simple (no spaces, or special characters) < I set up a very basic Network as an additional test, still no luck.
Any ideas?

I have the same issue. Set up the new Tachyon in headless mode using CLI. Entire process appeared to go fine including selecting the proper WiFi SSID and entering the correct password for it. Upon completion of the setup process, the LED started flashing green but it ever gets to a steady green or beyond to magenta. Re-ran the entire setup process a second time with same result.

Hey, I observed this when I powered the Tachyon with a almost drained battery.
Once I recharged the battery (I cheated and used a Muon) it finally connected…
I had the Tachyon connected to both the provided battery and to USB power (initially my Mac and then to an AC-to-USB transformer). No change.
Very frustrating, still no luck.
Is there a debug mode I can use to find out what the Tachyon is seeing? I’m beginning to think the WiFi is faulty on the Tachyon. What’s the best way to diagnose?
Still struggling, does anyone know the returns process? I think the unit must be defective.
