Sys.auto_boot does not work after LiPo battery dies

I have set sys.auto_boot:true on all of my devices. When a device remains unpowered via USB-C for a few days and runs only on the LiPo, the battery eventually dies and the Linux system shuts down but the Tachyon seems to remain “on” in a low-power state with the main LED at solid red. Once power is restored via USB-C, the device stays in this low-power state until you press the physical button to boot it again.

This might be problematic in environments where power is intermittent. Ideally, the Tachyon should recover itself and boot up again, and not have a “low-power” state that requires manual intervention to fix.

For example, I’d like to leave one in my car and have it recharge when the car is on. If the car is not used for a few days, the device will die and then not boot again until I go and manually boot it.
