[SOLVED] VS Code - Task Compile can't find header files

My project was compiling fine about a month ago. I recently updated my particle CLI… and I took the last VSCode upgrade to 1.26.1 I always had false errors in the past where my problems output from compiles would say “No such file or directory” but it would still compile so I didn’t bother with it. NOW When I compile my project in VSCode, it says it can’t open any of my source files. Problems tab looks like this:

My console Output when I compile appears to die on can’t find ITEADLIB_Nextion.h but it’s worked fine before and just stopped working. It’s always been in my project.properties file

I’m not sure where to start looking? Any help would be appreciated. thanks, Brian

[SOLVED] I just made a fresh directory for my C++ project and separated it from the web/nodejs stuff… this works fine now. still get the intellisense green squigglies under my header files and it says it can’t open them but compile works… so I’ll go back to ignoring those… unless IF someone has a simple fix for that annoyance… let me know! Back to the coding… Carpe Diem! Brian
