[SOLVED] Issue With 'particle serial monitor' and 'particle serial list' After Update

Hello,

Prior to updating my Photons to 0.4.5, using ‘particle serial list’ returned the Photons connected via serial. After updating however, doing so returns “No devices available via serial”. Similarly, when using ‘particle serial monitor’, the cli returns “! serial: No devices available via serial”. The Photons I have still running 0.4.4 work as expected.

Is there a work around to allow/display serial communication?

Which OS are you running?

I’m on OS X and have a photon running 0.4.5 and it’s showing up in particle serial list.

$ particle --version
1.8.3

Ah, that was the problem. I was on 1.5.3. CLI updated.
