RJ45 (or similar) Wired Plate (instead of WiFi)?

New to Spark products but have a bunch of Arduinos, RasPi’s etc. and do some work on MP progging. i like the size of the SParks and the price is also very interesting compared to the others I mentionned.

As my major interest addresses Smart Living, I am allways in search for wired devices over radio connected (reliability is simply better and I need wire connetcion to the switches etc. anyhow).

Here’s my questions:

1.) Is any of the products you have in support of RJ45 (or any other “pluggeable” connector) and talking ethernet?

2.) Can a solution done with Sparks be run completely independent from the internet (not any cloud, even plugged off the router)?

Thanks for your infos!
