RedBear DUO - CellPhone Proximity Project

Hi All,

I am working with some kids in school to make a lock for our STEMLAB.

I am proposing to use the RedBear Duo, so that we could detect a cell phone in the proximity to open the door.

I have never programmed anything with blue tooth and wanted to ask if someone here has an idea on what am I looking for and if this is possible with the RBD?

Any pointing in the right direction would be very appreciated!

Stick with Raspberry Pi 3 Particle. It’s lot easier to setup than Redbear Duo. Duo’s Provision key puts nightmare. You have download something Duo Firmware, Zadig, STM32 link, driver, etc.
