I'm trying to get the Tachyon to recognize the 2.5Gbps USB Ethernet adapter I bought. I'm assuming part of the problem is that we're not on the latest Ubuntu build. Can I update the kernel to 5.4.219 package or will that break things?

I have this exactly ethernet adapter and to get it to work, I went to build the kernel module from here:
We will be releasing an updated kernel that is upstreamed with Ubuntu 24.04 in short order that has this driver built in as well. Currently updating ubuntu kernel package causes the board to die an early death as Qualcomm didn't make the upstream compatible with this kernel when it was released - this is fixed when we jump to 24.04.
