I have 2x core and 1x photon all running on the same network with the same code in parallel. I am using the Dev cloud monitor to view the variables. I notice a lot that randomly a single unit going offline and staying off for 5-10 minutes. But never all of them at the same time.
Any explanation for that?

There is very little background here.
Is it always the same device that plays up?
How random are the occasions (sometimes within minutes then hours again, or mainly hours in between)?
Could it have to do with IP lease time?
Are all devices at the “same” physical location?
Could there be any of your code causing this under certain conditions?
All of these could explane the behaviour but without knowing the answers there’s no way for us to explain anything in particular.

no, seems random but only Core1 and the Photon. Core2 seems stable all the time

I have not seen that Core2 does it so it seems unlikely. The symptom is from connected going to blinking green (sometimes minutes) then very quick to cyan and then connected again.
