Published_at timestamp accuracy

As far as I can tell the Particle Cloud is adding the “published_at” timestamp to events published by my photon. Does anyone know if these timestamps are adjusted for the latency from the Photon to the cloud? I’m trying to assess the accuracy of these timestamps.

No, there is no attempt to determine the actual time of the event. In addition to network latency, there can also be failure retries.

The published_at timestamp is the time the event is first processed in the cloud, server time.
