Yet another battery discussion.
I looked up the data sheet for the built in power regulator on the photon
Looks like it can go from 2.7-5.5 for input.
Shouldn’t this work well with a 3.7v Lipo battery (with an internal 3v dropout regulator?)
You can but you risk driving the Lipo undervoltage if it does not come with a protection circuit or risk having the Photon “bricked” in some low-voltage situation
