I’m trying to manage my small armada of Photons, creating a table with the MAC address, device id, and (to tie it all together) the identifier on the shipping box (e.g., PH-DDDDDD-LLLL-0 (where the D’s represent digits and the L’s letters)
I can get the first two items through particle-cli while in listening mode, but I’m not sure how to get that identifier. Is it possible, or do I have to (gasp) do it by hand?

I’m not actually sure what DDDDDD is, but the number is neither unique nor constant. Photons purchased at the same time seem to have the same or close numbers, but I don’t know what the number is.
The LLLL part is the 4-character suffix in the SSID for the Soft AP WiFi network for configuration. The reason for that is so when multiple people are setting up their Photons in close proximity, think classroom or hackathon, you can figure out which one is yours. I’m pretty sure you can pull that out using DFU mode, but I’m not sure about listening mode.
