Online / offline issues on photon after an update to 0.8.0-rc.3

Hi,

I updated a photon from 0.7.0-rc.2 to 0.7.0 - this worked OK

I updated from 0.7.0 to 0.8.0-rc-3 and since then the photon goes offline very often (every 10 to 20 seconds) and come back online in the same second. I say it goes offline because I receive those events on the cloud part, I didn’t manage to get information from the photon so far.

I came back to thinker, reste the module, reset the wifi credential, powered on and off, restarted the wifi mode … nothing changed.

I tried to downgrade to 0.7.0 without any success.

I upgrade and downgrade using the web IDE … it always worked until now …

Any idea ?

The Web IDE never did downgrade system versions.
You only can flash lower versions application firmware to same or higher systems.

To downgrade, you should read the release notes for 0.8.0-rc.x

thanks, I used the CLI OTA to downgrade to 0.7.0. The downgrade worked and everything is back to normal.
