No Electron LED when wake on pin

I guess this isn’t a real problem as everything works but it can be damn confusing.

On an Electron sitting on my desk running 0.8.0-rc.11 I triggered the ‘wake on pin’ to wake it from sleep. The serial monitor showed all the usual messages as it performed it’s normal sequence but the main multi-color Electron LED was totally off and never came on. I don’t do any control of the LED in my code. On every other occasion the LED has come on with ‘wake on pin’.

We just had a quirky situation in the field with a separate Electron where we thought our input wasn’t working but now I suspect there was no issue and it only appeared that way because the LED didn’t come on.

Has anyone else experienced this or is this actually expected behaviour?

Thanks. I should have taken a video as I imagine it sounds pretty implausible.
