Live streaming Particle on Twitch!

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to share that I’ve started doing a bit of live streaming this year on Twitch. My initial goal, at this point, is to use the the platform as a way to build Particle projects “out in the open,” and introduce developers to the tools and services Particle provides to make IoT development easier (APIs, SDKs, libraries, etc,)

On my personal account, I’m streaming twice per week, on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons (US Central time). Tuesdays are typically hardware hacking builds (we’re working on mesh-networked RC cars right now!), while Thursdays are focused on building “IoT apps” using our tools. Here’s the event list for this week to give you an idea of what I’m planning.

In addition to a bit of planned hacking, I also want to use this time as open “Office Hours” where anyone can jump in to ask questions, get help, etc. I usually have one or two folks on each stream ask about Particle, our hardware, and I’d love it if folks from the community would jump in as well! So, if you have a burning question, an issue or just need some help, feel free to jump in live and ping me on chat. I’d love to hear from you.

Beyond my streams, Particle also has a Twitch account! I don’t have any specifics to share yet, but we’re planning to use the channel to provide you with another way to engage with us. Be sure to follow that account so you’ll know as soon as we go live!

Thanks for reading, and I hope to see you online!
