JTAG error while trying to run Programmer Shield

When trying to run openocd with this command:

 openocd -f /Users/macbook/Documents/.../openocd-0.9.0/tcl/interface/ftdi/particle-ftdi.cfg -f /Users/{username}/Documents/.../openocd-0.9.0/tcl/target/stm32f2x.cfg -c "gdb_port 3333" -c "\$_TARGETNAME configure -rtos FreeRTOS"

I get the following error:

I have no idea what is going on or how to fix it. Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Make sure you are not using the D3, D4, D5, D6, D7 pins in your code. Those pins are used for JTAG communication.

Also try to connect the debugger with the Photon in DFU mode (flashing yellow). In this mode, JTAG should be enabled.
