How do you install Photon USB Serial in Ubuntu?

Hello,

I have tried different ways of installing the driver but when I plug in the device it does and then do a ls / dev it does not see my photon as a usb device. Any advice would be helpful?

Mine would appear as a usbmodem but it’s a a Mac:

KENMBP:~ kennethlimcp$ ls /dev/ls /dev/tty.*
tty.Bluetooth-Incoming-Port  tty.usbmodem1411
tty.LightBlue-Bean

On Ubuntu, the Photon should show up as /dev/ttyACM0
