How can i supply my spark core and my 2 6V dc motors (for an rc car)
the only way i can get the 2 dc motors turning is with the spark connected via usb and supplying the motors with the vin and gnd pins
I’ve trield supplying the dc motors with 4 1.5V batteries and the spark core through the vin and gnd pin with the same batteries but the motors dont turn or turn very slowly.
any advice?

You will need to consider an alternative power source (eg. lipo) as the core can draw up to 300ma and the 1.5V batteries will not be able to support the motor and core at the same time. or rather the power depletes really quickly.
So which lipo battery do you suggest? Like how many volt and such
It all depends on whether you need it to be portable or not. If portable, how long do you need it to last?
I don’t really know what the range is of time lipo batteries last but maybe a half an hour is ok i guess, it’s just a project to exercise myself with coding and stuff so it’s something that ill dissasemble after i’m done with it to move on to a next project
If you don’t really need a battery, I wouldn’t use one. That just complicates things unnecessarily. Rather, make sure you power the motors separately, and not through the on-board regulator. That should work just fine.
I’m sorry, I don’t understand what you mean with powering the motors separately?
