Example of using External Watchdog Timer on Tracker One

Hi Folks,

I am looking for an example of how to use the External Watchdog Timer on the Tracker One.

I searched in the Application Note and while it mentions that the hardware is included with the Tracker One, I am not able to find examples of how to use it properly. link

I also was not quite able to understand the syntax referred to in the Tracker Edge documentation. link

Does anyone have an example of how to implement the built in external watchdog timer on the Tracker One?

We do not recommend manually controlling the hardware watchdog on the Tracker One, as it is already controlled by the Tracker Edge Firmware, v11 and later. It’s serviced from the application loop and disabled before sleep automatically.
