Electron Wifi not joining networks

Hello. I received my Electron today and am attempting to get it connected. I am in a building that does not permit cellular signals, so I’m attempting to join Wifi.

Prereqs:
I’m in listening mode
I do have the battery connected
Even though it’s not being used I do have the antenna connected (for fear to burning up the radio without a load connected)

The “particle setup wifi” command does report the wifi network properly, however, when I say either yes or no to “Should I try to auto-detect the wireless security type” I get no response. EDIT == I get this response, but nothing past this; Detected WPA(PSK/AES,TKIP/TKIP) WPA2(PSK,FT-PSK/AES,TKIP/TKIP) security

I’ve allowed this to sit for quite a while and tried multiple times.

Any ideas?

Hate to break it to you, but the Electron is Cellular-only, there’s no WiFi module on it. If you absolutely need WiFi, I’d suggest getting the Photon, which is a WiFi-only device, and does all the same awesome things  If you have access to WiFi, I’d recommend the Photon over the Electron.

well, my friend, you get   for providing the correct answer.

Clearly I’m referencing the wrong documentation

Now I’m curious, how was it able to detect the wireless networks to begin with?

I’m going to assume it’s your computer who detects the wireless signals, not the Electron
