Electron + T-Mobile USA

Just wanted to point out. I poped in a T-Mobile SIM card into my Electron and it worked!

This made me dig into the mobile plans that T-Mobile offers and they have a On-Demand plan that is basically free (if you have at least 1 phone line with them). This free on-demand plan gives you 200mb/m no questions ask.

Pretty good deal and it works with the Electron so I figured I’d share the info.

I had no idea that the 200MB of data included anything other than tablets.

Does Particle make any money on the data plans? I just don’t know if some of the hardware cost is subsidized. I would assume not if there is no contract.
