I wrote something up about collecting data with an Electron (temperature and humidity in this case), publishing it to ThingSpeak to have an easy way to see a graph, then putting the Electron to sleep until the next sampling time to save battery.
Should be a good first project for people looking for something to do with their Kickstarter Electron
