Desktop IDE stopped working with cloud

My Desktop IDE has stopped working with the Cloud. If I try to compile, I get a quick busy indicator and then it always declares “Success”, regardless of what is in my source files. It cannot locate any of my devices, even though the Web IDE shows them to be online.

I am using Windows 8.1 and Particle 1.18.0

Have to ask, but:“did you try turning it off and on again?” (Even your entire computer)

I had a similar issue in the past. I had to log out and log back in using my email and password which can be found under the Particle Tab.

Thanks very much, this solved the problem. I had already tried a reboot of the PC (see Moors7, above) which did not resolve the issue.
