Connect particle photon with Internet using Ethernet connection

Hello, We are using Wired internet connection (ethernet), I have connected the Ethernet adapter https://store.ncd.io/product/ethernet-overlay-shield-particle-photon-electron-beta/ with Particle photon.

According to the Ethernet shield specification, we cannot access the particle cloud
But is it possible in any case to use ethernet connection with particle photon to send data of any sensor to Particle cloud?
