I was taking photos of the Photon to use show it to a friend and when I did this my Photon rebooted. I assume this happens because a component on the Photon is just a bare die. I have done this several times to make sure it wasn’t a one time thing. I wonder what component is causing this to happen.
what
?
This is a thing, particularly with wafer scale packaging (known in the industry as “chip on sh*t”).

Can I refer to it as the “Xenon Reboot” since I discovered this bug/flaw on the Photon?
I figured the metal can over the processor would stop the flash from doing this.
I don’t really see it as a big deal considering it’s easy to cover the top of the boards and normally they are tucked away inside something anyways.
