I've tried to restore the firmware of my boron based on this link:
However the board doesn't seem to work still. So I'm wondering how to do a full firmware reset for the boron.

You can check out my suggestions here. You can use an NRF52DK to unbork your Boron.

You can also use the Particle Debugger to restore if you have one
