AT&T Signal Strength Degrading?

I am seeing random webhook failures to Losant. When I look in the console, I don't even see the webhook was attempted. I believe this is a cellular connectivity issue. I have two borons that have been running for over a year and I believe the signal strength is getting worst. These borons are installed in two residential structures. Would it be possible to check with AT&T and see if there is anything they can do to improve the network?

DEVICE #1
30% cellular signal strength
6% cellular signal quality

  • Operator: AT&T Wireless Inc.
  • Access technology: LTE
  • Cell Global Identity: 310-410-3335-204802575

DEVICE #2
22% cellular signal strength
29% cellular signal quality

  • Operator: AT&T Wireless Inc.
  • Access technology: LTE
  • Cell Global Identity: 310-410-3335-204802575

Can you DM @Support with the DeviceIDs please?
A photo of the antennas would be good as well.

Not a great picture... Should the patch antenna be vertical or horizontal?

It's generally best for the antenna to sit vertical - with the broad sides radiating outwards and towards the local tower. It should not be pointing at the sky ie. lying flat and be kept away from any metal surface as much as possible.
Low signal quality typically indicates a noisy electrical environment around the device - this could be from a motor etc. that's causing interference.

As for the tower, below is a historical view of the signal strength and quality of all the Particle devices that connect to it - performance appears stable.

Those low readings must be my two units

I'll try and find a better location (away from the 240VAC line and that small DIN rail.

Thank you for confirming!
