I’m trying to see if it would be feasible to construct a x10 receiver using the photon. X10 signal is running on 8us, so if I could configure the photon to do the sampling under 2.5us ,it might do the trick.( plus some fft afterward)
The second issue is the sampling. I’m not sure what is the best way to sample the mains. I was thinking of a voltage divider that feed a linear optocoupler. Would that work, or does the 120khz would get attenuated too far ?
I’d appreciate any advice.
