I am trying to make Photon wifi not functioning as what it suppose to be, in another word I am trying to make the wifi stop working or in not properly working to see what kind of condition the wifi is under the worst condition. If there any idea for me to test it out?
If you serial print the Wifi RSSI data then you will be able to see how the WiFi signal strength drops as you get further away from the WiFi access point.

I’m not sure what you intend, but you can always unplug your AP (or with a mobile phone deactivate the AP).
Also water is a good WiFi blocker. Wrap your device in a plastic bag (seal well) and immerse it into a jug of water 
Be careful not to drown it tho’

Put it in a closed metal box, or metal mesh. Thanks to good old Faraday, no signals should be able to get in or out Just don’t short anything…
