OK, try typing

set HOME

in a cmd shell. That should show you all the variables with home in their name.

The point @suda was making is to go find this directory and delete it.

I donā€™t know if you have Windows installed correctly since mine returns home as well as the other things with ā€œhomeā€ in their name that yours does.

Look aroundā€“the .spark directory should be in an obvious place.

So what do I do after removing the contents of the %HOME%.spark directory?

Try opening the serial monitor that you had problems with before. The .spark directory should be recreated with the proper contents the first time you it.
