Spark Core Plugin For Wordpress!

Hello All,

I just made a plugin for Wordpress to open your light :slight_smile:

You can set your Access token , Core id and Also API Url to send reqeust your core. Also sparcore-wp plugin have Widget this means you can use easy at sidebar.

Interesting! You may have just saved me a ton of work with this. :smile:

I’ve got a surprise for My fiancé planned (who’s eyes glaze over when I start talking electronics). Basically I’m going to get her to design, solder and program a “Hit-O-Meter” with the Spark Core. She’s always talking about how many hits her blog is getting (“I got 158 today!”) so I figure this will be something she’ll like and it’ll be nice intro into embedded electronics.

The gauge will use a servo with a needle (pointer) attached to indicate the number of hits in the last 24 hours. The plan was to use WP-CRON and a plugin to call the Spark API, which will update a variable thus making the gauge indicator go up!

I’m thinking I can reuse a lot of your code here to make that plugin, so it all integrates into WP nicely. :smile:

Oh haha, nice. I think they are different enough though that we’ll both win blue ribbons :spark: … you’re going to flip when you see mine :slight_smile:
