Connection Issues

When it always works in Safe Mode it's more likely your running code is preventing a successful flash. Breathing cyan would only go away when the device actively notices that the connection has been dead for at least 10 seconds. However, once in 10 seconds check-in with the cloud is not a stable enough connection for a successful OTA update. You probably need to make your code less blocking.
