Running core code when no WIFI

Hi,

I can see that semi auto or manual modes can start the user code but once connecting the user code is blocked, if the core cannot connect it remains blocked. is there anyway to detect if wifi is present before trying to connect or anyway to stop the connection process on failure?
I am sure I read somewhere that the Photon does not have this issue can anyone confirm?

Best regards,
Clive

Have you seen this?

Hi ScruffR

I did look through these sorry I am not sure how these help me. I can see anything that returns true or flase for network available. If I try connect it is already in blocking mode. May I ask you to expand a little?

Best regards,
Clive

Hi

I just found a thread discussing exactly the issue I am now encountering here Semi-automatic mode question.
I will continue in this thread.
