Question about a FCC procedure

Hi everyone,

I’m working on a product that should be an FCC certified and I trying to get ready for this process.

I saw 2 documentations about this process in the following links:

a. https://docs.particle.io/datasheets/certifications/certification/#fcc
b. https://github.com/rickkas7/p1-test-firmware

But it is a little bit confusing.

Regards to the 2’nd link, I didn’t fully understand if I have to use the SWD or the JTAG is sufficient. I have a JTAG connector on my PCBA but I don’t have an SWD shield.

I will glad to get some information about how to do this procedure only with JTAG connection.

If this application is using P1 or Photon then these are both FCC certified providing the recommended antenna is used. You may need to consider other regulations for EMC from you other circuits and power supply depending upon what you are using.
