PCB Layout - GND Pins

Hi there!
I have a question about the PCB layout for a Photon board with headers. There are 2 GND pins (2 & 21),
my idea was to connect just one to avoid any ground loop. It’s OK to leave one of the GND pins floating?

All the GND pins are connected to the internal GND plane. They exist for ease of use while breadboarding. You can leave one of the other floating.

Probably a bit late now, but can I suggest that it would be useful to include this info in the Photon datasheet! I just spent 10 minutes searching and re-searching it to find out this information.
