In basic research this module is dangerous to use - proceed with a lot of caution!
@Yapno, I would recommend a board which uses clip-on current transformers instead of closed ones. The PZEM004T also draws its power directly from the measured circuit which is why @shanevanj is concerned about safety. Such a device is not isolated and invariably dangerous. I highly recommend a device that is independently powered.
