I don't see any vitals or location info in the particle console, the network data is old/outdated - should I see this data or is it still work in progress? All that seems to be relevant is the latest handshake/last heard.
I took my Tachyon on a road trip to London and back today (480miles round trip) - it seemed to be "breathing cyan" most of the time and I could access gnss & LTE status via the command line (saw the SIM connected to O2 and EE and gnss location data looked reasonable).
Hey zedstarr!
We just fixed the vitals bug - can you do an”apt-get upgrade” in your console and it will automatically get the latest version of particle-linux.
Good the war driving went well! I am heading to the UK in a few weeks and looking to do the very same (using the car usb charger to recharger when driving automatically). An application example coming soon that implements full tracker features as well!
Let us know how you get on!
Thanks
Nick
Thanks - vitals are now available. Any update on the "location" part of the console?
Tachyon chilling on the passenger seat earlier today...
The "vitals" shown in the console only show "signal strength" - i.e. no battery/signal quality/RTT/memory... is that a known issue or expected behaviour?
Also the network details are old/stale they have not been updated since they first appeared.
Battery, signal quality and location are in progress right now!
