Multi Master I2C Support BSOM

Is there OS support for Multi Master I2C on the BSOM devices B524’s? Or on any Particle units?

The nRF52840 does not support multi-master I2C so no Gen 3 Particle devices (Argon, Boron, B Series SoM, Tracker) support it.

@johnnyfp ,

While not a “supported” feature, it can be done if you can get the two masters to agree to not talk over one another. Have not done this on Particle but this “kluge” worked well for me.

This may not work on Particle as the deviceOS has its own needs for the i2c bus and may not be willing to abide by the rules of this approach.
